Ms. Leatrice Haskins was crowned a "Diamond Soror" at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority South Central Regional Conference in 2017.  A "Diamond Soror" has the distiction of being an active member for 75 years.

Ms. Haskins joined Alpha Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in 1942 at Texas College in Tyler, Texas, where she served as the president.  Later, she joined the graduate chapter, Kappa Omicron Omega, while in Tyler.

​

In 1976, she assisted in organizing and became a charter member of Kappa Xi Omega Chapter in Texarkana, Texas.  She continues to serve as a mentor to young women of the Texarkana community and surrounding areas.

 

It is such a pleasure to have Ms. Haskins as an active member for over 45 years here of the Kappa Xi Omega Chapter!
